NAB AFL Auskick is simply the best introduction for kids into the world of Australian Football. Auskickers run, jump, kick, laugh, express themselves and create their own special moments that just happens to be footy. No matter if you know the game or not, Auskick is inclusive for everyone aged 5-12 at any ability to play.

To all our Highett FNC Auskick families, welcome to 2025 football season, how good is footy!
Last year we had 90 registered participants, an extremely successful, fun and rewarding season. An awesome under 7s carnival for our top age team members, giving valuable experience before graduating into under 8s official football. Ending the year with a grid game at Turner Rd which is still the talk of the town.
This year we begin our primary Sunday sessions on the 4th of May 9am oval 2, Wednesday 7th 4.45pm oval 1 for our second session. Rego covers both, which everyone is welcome to do, one or the other or change week to week.
We have some Saturday afternoon activities/games planned around senior football matches at Turner rd. further info TBC, and of course the under 7s carnival where we will field a boys and girls squad.
We have already exceeded last years registration numbers and Friday summer sessions went amazingly, thanks to everyone who turner up for a kick.
Community sports clubs can either thrive or just survive based on volunteer enthusiasm Auskick being a fully volunteer lead and run program is impossible without strong parent involvement, in addition to needing coaches, admin, planning and support volunteers, just being present to support your child and get your hands dirty when needed always creates the most successful and fun sessions. There are no scenarios in which children can be left unsupervised by their parent or guardian.
We are in serious need a few more coaches to control a group/put their spin on some games and help with planning. Our larger numbers will require at least 4-5 separate groups week to week. We also rely on sponsors for new equipment and creating free activities, donations and sponsorships are always welcomed.
Please call me anytime to discuss getting involved with coaching or any roles amongst our Auskick community. BBQ can fire up every week if we have volunteers to run it!
You cant play footy by yourself!
Thank you
