NAB AFL Auskick is simply the best introduction for kids into the world of Australian Rules Football. Auskickers run, jump, kick, laugh, express themselves and create their own special moments that just happen to be footy. No matter if you know the game or not, Auskick is inclusive for everyone aged 5-12 at any ability to play.

Greetings to all our Highett Bulldogs community, 2025 was an amazing year for our Auskick legends and junior football participants.
High praise coming from AFL Victoria as the only centre in the region to successfully deliver two sessions a week (plus all the extra activities, extra sessions and Saturday Grid games)
Next year we will continue our popular Friday Fun Footy sessions across March as free Auskick come and try nights welcoming new families and players, plus all our existing Auskickers eager to have a kick before Auskick officially begins and junior football clinic/preseason training. BBQ cooking, bar open, icy poles on hand and maybe some cheeky water bomb games on the menu.

Sundays will continue to be our primary session, Wednesday at 4.45 Oval 1 as a sharp after school Auskick session will begin Wednesday 6th of May
Well known to all around the Kennel, Daniel Booth takes over as Our Highett Auskick Co-ordinator, myself, Jacinta and Abby will continue to support as we look for new volunteers to get involved.
Auskick is fully volunteer lead, run and funded and can only thrive with volunteers getting their hands dirty.
We are planning an informal catch-up Sunday 23rd November 2pm venue TBC for anyone and everyone interested in helping next year in the Auskick team and in the under 8s for our graduating players starting junior football. We are very exited about our girls under 8s starting their football adventures alongside possibly two mixed/boys teams.
